Jack’s and WABG-TV Join Forces to Feed the Delta; Round-Up Donations to Support Hearty Helpings Food Pantry and Soup Kitchen
GREENWOOD, Miss. (Nov. 11, 2024) – Jack’s Family Restaurants (Jack’s) is teaming up with WABG-TV to support Hearty Helpings Food Pantry and Soup Kitchen in a community-wide drive for non-perishable food items. From Nov. 11 to Nov. 24, guests can bring non-perishable donations to five participating Jack’s locations across Mississippi. Additionally, Jack’s will launch a “round-up” campaign, giving guests the option to round up their purchases to the nearest dollar. All proceeds from the campaign will go directly to Hearty Helpings Food Pantry and Soup Kitchen, providing essential meals to those in need throughout the community.
Hearty Helpings Food Pantry provides healthy bagged and hot meals to individuals with immediate food needs. In addition, the organization offers a clothing ministry and assistance with Entergy light bill payments for eligible participants.
“We understand the profound impact a warm meal can have – it’s comfort, hope and a reminder that someone cares. At Jack’s, we’re committed to continuously supporting the communities we serve and extending our help wherever it’s needed to uplift our neighbors,” said Jack’s Family Restaurants CEO Todd Bartmess.
