Jack’s Gives Back to Memphis

Jack’s and WREG Unite for Coats for Kids; Jack’s Round-Up Donations Directly Benefiting YMCA of Memphis and Local Schools

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (Nov. 6, 2024) – Jack’s Family Restaurants (Jack’s) is teaming up with WREG News Channel 3 to support children in need this winter through the Coats for Kids drive. From Oct. 28 through Nov. 15, 13 participating Jack’s locations in the Memphis area will serve as collection points for winter coats. In addition to the coat drive, Jack’s will run a “round-up” campaign from Oct. 30 through Nov. 19. Guests will have the option to round up their purchases to the nearest dollar, with proceeds supporting the YMCA of Memphis & The Mid-South and local schools.

For over 36 years, the WREG Coats for Kids campaign has been a staple in the Mid-South, gathering over 160,000 coats to distribute to families in need. This year, Jack’s is eager and proud to lend its community-driven spirit to the effort!

“We’re here to make a difference in the communities we serve. This year, we’re not only collecting coats but also launching our round-up initiative to empower our guests to contribute. It’s about creating a ripple effect of kindness that inspires our community to come together and uplift one another. To us, true Southern hospitality is making this winter a little brighter for the children and families who need it most,” said Jack’s Family Restaurants CEO Todd Bartmess.
